Cork, Ireland, April 22, 2015 - Ireland-France Subsea Cable Limited ("IFSC") was incorporated to develop a subsea fibre-optic cable route between Cork, Ireland, and Lannion, France. "We are excited to formalize the project and the company as we take development of the project to the next stage," said Douglas Cunningham, CEO of Ireland-France Subsea Cable.
"Over the last number of months we have determined the feasibility of the route and project, and actively begun market development," stated Cunningham. "The increasing demand we are seeing from the market is very encouraging and indicative of the growth that Ireland is experiencing in the data centre and high tech space."
IFSC is developing a 565km subsea fibre optic cable from Cork, Ireland to Lannion, France.
