Using the latest subsea and optical technology, IFSC will deliver ultra-high capacity connectivity between Ireland, France and continental Europe.

Subsea Cable Limited

IFSC is a subsea fibre optic cable project developing a cable connecting Ireland and France.  Using the latest technology and installation methods, IFSC will deliver capacity to carriers and large enterprises  requiring connectivity between Ireland and continental Europe.

IFSC was created by veteran telecom entrepreneurs Mike and Doug Cunningham. With decades of experience in the telecom and finance industries, as developers of other submarine cable systems such as Arctic Fibre and Antilles Crossing, and other large scale telecommunications infrastructure, Mike and Doug are well positioned to bring connectivity from France to Ireland.

In August 2017, the IFSC team grew further with the addition of Fergus Innes as Managing Director.  Fergus brings over a quarter century of experience having worked with some of the most recognized fibre and submarine carriers in Europe.  Based in Dublin, Fergus is located in the heart of data centre country and well positioned to drive growth forward.
